The King's Academy is a private, distinctively Christian, university preparatory school for day and boarding students. The King's Academy is one division of Harrison-Chilhowee Baptist Academy, which also operates The Bible Training Center for bi-vocational ministers and the Chilhowee Retreat Center for churches and schools. The campus is located on sixty-seven acres of gentle rolling foothills near the Great Smoky Mountains of scenic East Tennessee. The academy enrolls students of average and above average ability in grades K4 through twelve. The academy enrolled 417 students during the 2007-2008 school year. The diverse student body included representatives from 17 foreign countries. Typically, over 90% of the graduating seniors continue their education at a college or university.
