Financial Policies
Student tuition and fees are the major source of operating revenue for The King’s Academy.
The yearly rates cover the 2013 – 2014 school year. If a student should be dismissed or withdraw from school for any reason, tuition, room & board remains due. Consult the refund policy for more information.
A student who does not have immigrant, refugee or permanent residency status in the United States must submit US$15,000.00 to receive the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service Form I-20 that is necessary to receive an F-1 Student Visa. The $15,000 is partial payment of the annual cost. The balance of the annual cost is to be paid before the beginning of the subsequent semester.
Students with accounts not current will not be permitted to receive grades or transcripts.
Discounts
All students benefit from the support of the generous churches of the Tennessee Baptist Convention who believe passionately in the academy’s mission. Parents pay approximately 2/3 of the actual costs of school operations. The TBC’s stewardship effort, the Cooperative Program, enables the academy to reduce costs and offer more students the privilege of a distinctively Christian education.
An additional discount is offered to families with more than one dependent child enrolled.
To apply for additional need-based academy-provided financial aid, please contact the Admissions Office at 865-573-8321 or admissions@thekingsacademy.net. Need-based aid is quite limited, and is dependent upon availability. Applications for financial aid after May 31, 2013, will only be accepted as additional funds become available to the Financial Aid Fund.
