Grandparents Day Friday, September 5, 2014

Grandparents Day at TKA is Friday, September 5th. Grandparents are invited to chapel, as well as the classroom.  Registration will be set up in both the elementary building, and Woody Auditorium foyer.

Parents are also welcome, and the cost for lunch will be $5.00 per person.  Lunch is complimentary for grandparents.  Please register for lunch by Wednesday, September 3rd so that our cafeteria can prepare enough food.  You may register by calling Cheryl Weekly at (865)573-8321, ext. 101, or Our PTF is helping staff the event and needs some additional parent volunteers.  All volunteers will receive a free lunch.

On Grandparents Day, all student drivers and parents remaining on campus after morning drop-off please park either behind the cafeteria or at Stokely Gym.  We would like to leave the prime parking spaces for our special guests.  Volunteers will run a “golf cart shuttle” for those in need of assistance on campus.

A photographer will be at a designated site for souvenir photos.  These photos will be printed and distributed after the event.  Also, the Book Fair will be open from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Grandparents Day for students and their grandparents to stop in.

Have questions? Feel free to contact Cheryl Weekly (865)573-8321, ext. 101, or
