Clubs & Organizations at The King’s Academy

A club may be organized and officially recognized when a group of students who share a common interest establish the organizational structure for a club and obtain a faculty/staff sponsor.

Some of the clubs/organizations that have been formed in recent years are:

  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes

  • Ju-Jitsu Club
  • National Honor Society
  • Photography Club
  • Student Action Leadership Team (SALT)

Student Government Association (SGA)

The central student organization on campus is the SGA. All TKA students are members of the SGA. The student body elects the SGA officers (President, Vice-President, & Secretary/Treasurer).

The purpose of the SGA is:

  • to develop leadership within the student body

The goals of the SGA are:

  • to build community among the students, faculty and staff
  • to encourage the involvement of students in the total academy program
  • to facilitate communication between students and faculty and staff
