Second Grade Students from The King’s Academy Present their Pumpkin Reports
Most of us don’t look at a pumpkin and think of characters like Abe Lincoln or baby Jesus. But, through the creativity of second grade students at The King’s Academy, we can see what characters like these look like as pumpkins!
Students read a book and chose a character from the book. They used their imaginations and creativity to make their chosen character out of a pumpkin! When the students gave their oral reports in class, they introduced their pumpkin characters to their peers. The class voted for the top three pumpkin characters of the class. Results: 1st Place – The Lorax, 2nd Place – Abe Lincoln, 3rd Place – Jesus’ Birth
