On April 13, 2013, the First Annual TKA/Tri-C Farms Rodeo and Round-up let people rope and ride all in support of academic programs at The King’s Academy. Under the direction of PTF board member Summer Delius and Principal Leroy Beam, rodeo demonstrations and competitions provided entertainment as well as tests of skill for those who wished to try their hand at being a cowboy or cowgirl. $13,000 was raised to support TKA thanks to strong participation and generous donations from local sponsors. Plans are already underway for next spring’s event.
