A familiar face returned to the halls of TKA when Thomas Newman returned from Slovakia and began his senior year at King’s. Thomas was one of 60 students who participated in the Rotary Youth Exchange program in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He spent the last year living with host families and attending a Slovakian school. Thomas commented he had opportunities to experience many cultures he would not have encountered in the States. Thomas and his family are providing another student with the unique opportunity to be immersed in a new culture as they are currently hosting an exchange student.
