Before beginning her senior year at TKA, Eniola Lasisi attended the National Student Leadership Conference for Business Programs at Northwestern University where she had valuable experiences to prepare her for college and her future career. High school students participating in the leadership conference had the opportunity to work closely with student leaders who attend prestigious colleges and universities across the country as they participated in lectures from college professors and business owners. Eniola’s team developed a mock company and had to design and market a new product, hold press conferences with shareholders, and evaluate the outcomes of resolving legal issues in court or through out of court settlements. Students experienced the collaborative and competitive aspects of operating a business as they competed with other teams.
