PLASTIC CAPS ARE READY FOR TRANSPORT
Mrs. Pitney has gathered and weighed all of the plastic caps that were turned in. Now, she needs help loading ALL 85 BAGS onto the trailer to take Indiana. If your student is in need of service hours, this is a great opportunity! Please meet at the Boys Dorm at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 17 if you can help. Mrs. Pitney is pleased to announce that she will return with two picnic tables (one regular and one handicap accessible) and three 6-ft. benches. Two benches will go on the large elementary playground and one will go on the small elementary playground. Also, any donations to offset the cost of the benches would be greatly appreciated!
LAST CALL FOR MITTEN TREE DONATIONS
The last day to donate gloves, hats or scarves to the Mitten Tree is Friday, December 18. The Mitten Tree is located in the entrance of the Ogle Building. All donations go to C.R.O.S.S. ministries in Seymour.
CALENDARS STILL AVAILABLE
Earlier this year, our seniors sold 2016 calendars as a fundraiser for their mission trip to Guatemala. Mr. Ayers has extra calendars if anyone would like to purchase one. They are $10 each and have Bible verses in either KJV or NIV. Please email Mr. Ayers if you would like to purchase a calendar, jayers@thekingsacademy.net.
