High School Computer Lit Students Teach Elementary Students
High school students in Computer Literacy courses transitioned from student to teacher as they designed games to play with elementary school students and taught them about computer hardware. Elementary school students enjoyed having class with the high school students for a day. Computer Literacy teacher Angie Griffin said, “Students have many different learning styles and learn in different ways. This project in Computer Literacy touched on many of those styles and not only helped to reinforce their learning but challenged them to come up with their own, unique ideas of different ways to teach the concepts they learned to others.”
