The King’s Academy is an independent Christian university preparatory school educating local students in grades PreK-12 and boarding students in grades 7-12 from the United States and all over the world.
Interested in learning more about The King’s Academy? Bring your family to Information Session – a perfect time to experience TKA. You will have the opportunity to visit with TKA faculty and staff, fellowship with other families and learn what sets TKA apart from other educational institutions.

Want to see what it’s like to be a King’s Academy student? Join us for one of the shadow days listed below! Visiting students will shadow a TKA student for the day. Students in grades 5-11 are welcome to attend. The day will begin in the Admissions office (Anderson Building Administrative Hallway) at 7:45 a.m. Visiting students will pick up a visitor pass and be escorted to their classroom. Class begins at 8:00 a.m. Last period of the day ends at 3:00 p.m. Your student will be escorted back to the Admissions office where you may pick him/her up. Lunch will be provided and attire should be modest. Shorts and skirts above the knee or flip flops are not permitted.
Informal Parent Question and Answer Sessions will be held in the Admissions office from 8:00-9:00 a.m. and 2:00-3:00 p.m. each shadow day. All parents of visiting students are invited to attend one of the sessions. If you prefer a personal appointment, please contact Janice Mink (email@example.com) or Melinda Thornton (firstname.lastname@example.org) to schedule a convenient time.
TKA will only allow the first 8 shadow requests per shadow day. Registration is required. Click here to complete the online registration form. Select “Attend a Shadow Day” at the top of the page.

Learn how to apply with The Kings Academy. Topics addressed will include priority application periods, references, testing, supplemental forms, and student interview. The twenty-minute presentation will be followed by a 10-minute discussion time.
