The King’s Academy accepts applications year-round.

Thursday, August 10, 6:00 pm: Orientation for returning and new students!

  • 6:00 – 6:30 everyone meets in the Polly Enix Tibbetts Building
  • 6:30 – 7:30 Small group meetings and discussions as follows
    • Elementary students and parents meet in teachers’ rooms
    • Middle School students and parents remain in Tibbetts
    • High School meets in Anderson/Hasson/Woody Buildings
  • 7:30 – 8:30 Ice Cream Social on Front Lawn

Friday, August 11 is the FIRST day of school.

Webinar: A Conversation with Admissions

Presenter: Melinda Thornton, Director of Enrollment Management and Janice Mink, Director of Admissions

Learn how to apply with The Kings Academy. Topics addressed will include priority application periods, references, testing, supplemental forms, and student interview. The twenty-minute presentation will be followed by a 10-minute discussion time. Webinar: Academics at The King’s Academy – Elementary Grades K-5

Presenter: Sarah Sasscer, Academic Dean

Miss Sasscer will discuss the course selection and curriculum in middle school and high school. Student performance on standardized tests and in academic competitions will be presented.
