The King’s Academy seeks to provide spiritual growth and academic empowerment for promising students. Our students come from around the globe—an average of 17 countries are represented—and they leave profoundly changed by the welcoming culture that we call “family.”
Student Shadow Day
Want to see what it’s like to be a King’s Academy student? Join us for a shadow day. Visiting students will shadow a TKA student for the day. Students in grades 5-11 are welcome to attend. The day will begin in the Admissions office (Anderson Building Administrative Hallway) at 7:45 a.m. Visiting students will pick up a visitor pass and be escorted to their classroom. Class begins at 8:00 a.m. Last period of the day ends at 3:00 p.m. Your student will be escorted back to the Admissions office where you may pick him/her up. Lunch will be provided and attire should be modest. Shorts and skirts above the knee or flip flops are not permitted. TKA will only allow the first 8 shadow requests per shadow day. Registration is required. Parent Question and Answer Sessions will be held in the Admissions office from 8:00-9:00 a.m. and 2:00-3:00 p.m. each shadow day. All parents of visiting students are invited to attend one of the sessions. If you prefer a personal appointment, please contact Lori Campbell (firstname.lastname@example.org) to schedule a convenient time.
