The King’s Academy seeks to provide spiritual growth and academic empowerment for promising students. Our students come from around the globe—an average of 17 countries are represented—and they leave profoundly changed by the welcoming culture that we call “family.”
“2 in 2”
At our school orientation on August 9, The King’s Academy’s new President, Matt Mercer announced our “2-in-2 Campaign” to secure additional funds for the building of our state-of-the-art STEM facility. We need to raise an additional 2 million dollars in 2 years.
Many who attended the orientation were kind enough to take a pledge form and prayerfully consider giving to this project. Pledge forms are being sent home with students.
We welcome the opportunity to meet with you, one on one, to discuss plans for the building and answer any questions. Please call or text Marc Weekly at 865-607-1956.
Anyone who schedules a meeting with him will receive an insulated, stainless steel tumbler with a TKA logo. Plus, anyone who returns a signed pledge form by Monday, August 20 will also receive a tumbler. (Pledge forms may be returned to your child’s teacher, or turned in to the President’s office.)
I have attached a pledge form to this email, as well as a flyer with more information about the building and status of the campaign. President Mercer will establish a team to work with Architectural and Engineering Firm, Michael Brady, Inc. to develop a true plan of the building based on our programming needs.
