The Lower School Experience

Where curiosity becomes confidence.

The early school years shape much more than academic skills. They shape how children see themselves as learners, how they build relationships, and how they begin to understand God’s world. At TKA, strong academics, meaningful relationships, hands-on learning, and biblical truth work together to build a foundation for lifelong growth.

01

Known Personally

Teachers recognize individual strengths, needs, personalities, gifts, and potential. Students are more than names on a roster.

02

Loved Deeply

Students learn in a nurturing, Christ-centered community where relationships matter and each child is valued, encouraged, and cared for.

03

Equipped to Grow

Strong academics, creativity, character formation, faith, and increasing independence prepare students for Middle School and beyond.

Faith is part of every day.

Biblical truth is not separated from learning. Students are encouraged to understand that all truth belongs to God and to see their studies, relationships, gifts, and choices through a Christ-centered worldview.

Childhood Matters

Room to learn. Room to wonder. Room to be a kid.

We want students to work hard and grow. We also want them to look forward to coming to school. Lower School should be filled with discovery, laughter, relationships, traditions, and moments students remember long after they leave the classroom.
