The King’s Academy is seeking a qualified Upper School Science Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 school year.
The ideal candidate will be a committed Christian educator who is passionate about helping students grow academically, spiritually, and personally. This position will provide engaging, rigorous science instruction within a Christ-centered learning environment while encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world application.

Position Summary
The King’s Academy is seeking a dependable, team-oriented Part-Time Food Service Assistant to support the daily operations of our Food Services Department. This position assists with meal preparation, kitchen sanitation, dining hall upkeep, and dish room operations while helping provide a clean, safe, and welcoming dining experience for students, faculty, staff, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation and basic cooking as directed by the Food Service Director and kitchen staff.
Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, serving areas, and dining hall throughout the day.
Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper sanitation procedures.
Assist with meal service and food line setup as needed.
Help with opening and closing kitchen duties.
Stock and organize food, supplies, and equipment.
Follow all health department regulations, food safety standards, and Academy policies.
Work cooperatively with the Food Services team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Food Services Department.
Qualifications
Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and customer service.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
Schedule
Part-time position with flexible hours based on the Academy’s needs.
Shifts will vary and may include early mornings, daytime, and occasional evenings for special events.
Weekend shifts are required on a rotating basis.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
Ability to safely operate commercial kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in varying kitchen temperatures.
