The newly formed “Love Where We Live” initiative will place TKA students in strategic partnerships throughout the communities of East Tennessee in order to serve and to learn more about the Lord through service. Day and Boarding students will participate in grade level mission projects to develop a deeper understanding of God’s creation and to inspire a culture of service. TKA will seek to continue to be the choice for Christ-centered, academically challenging education while fulfilling the Great Commandment of making disciples of all nations.

Love Where We Live Service Projects

Faculty and Staff LWWL

The TKA faculty and staff helped kick off the Love Where We Live service projects. They were the hands and feet of Christ as they painted, power washed, weeded, mulched and prayed over Seymour Primary. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve our neighbors in Seymour.

9th Grade LWWL

The 9th grade students participated in their grade level Love Where We Live Project by washing ambulances, sweeping the bays, and cleaning the station for our Seymour EMS station. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve our first responders in the Seymour community!

10th Grade LWWL

Our 10th Grade students were the hands and feet of Christ at Montgomery Village as they loaded grocery bags for the Baptist Center market, picked up around the campus, and took part in a Bible study. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve our community as we continue to strive to develop servant leaders for Christ.

11th Grade LWWL

Our 11th grade Lions served on campus for their Love Where We Live project. Students and teachers cleaned up the flower beds, pulled weeds, picked up sticks and so much more. We are thankful for their hard work and service as they loved on our campus.
