Friday, September 13 is one of the biggest events of the year at TKA – our annual Grandparents Day! We don’t want to leave anyone out, so please share this information with any grandparents that might not receive TKA emails. “Grandfriends” are welcome too!
We’re excited to welcome grandparents and grandfriends to campus to experience a day at TKA. Thank you to those who have let us know you’re coming. If you have not, please RSVP with an email to Cheryl Weekly . (We need an estimate of attendees to assist our cafeteria staff with meal preparation.) Contact your child’s teacher for times (lunch, etc.).
Can’t stay all day? No problem. Many grandparents enjoy the experience of a regular school day, but many are only able to drop in for chapel or lunch. We just look forward to hosting our special guests on our campus as they spend some time with our students. Registration tables will be set up in the Ogle Building and the Anderson Building beginning at 7:40 a.m.
Golf cart shuttles will be available for those that require assistance in getting around campus. We’ll also have a professional photographer on the main lawn to capture a keepsake photo from the event. (Photos are mailed to grandparents within a few weeks.)
