Homecoming Information

Our high school football team will host the Grace Christian Academy of Franklin in tomorrow night’s home opener at 7:30 p.m. on TKA’s Huskey Field.  Admission prices are $8 per person and students ages 10 and under are free.  All currently enrolled day and boarding middle & high school students must show their student ID for admission.  Parking is available in various locations for free or $5.  Handicapped and elderly parking is free at the Stokely Gym lot.  Please open the “parking” pdf to the right of this post to view free and paid lot locations.

There will be two game entrances set up for home games again this season: Stokely Gym parking lot and archway in the stone wall.

Full concessions will be available during the game as well: hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, grilled chicken sandwiches, nachos, popcorn, assorted chips & candy bars.  Restrooms are located inside the McKinley Braden Student Life Center, located to the right of the concession stand.

Additionally, we will have a special tailgate event for our alumni in the Stokely parking lot.  We will also recognize alumni and former football players, cheerleaders and homecoming court participants during halftime.

IMPORTANT PARADE INFO

TKA’s SRO, David Whaley, has arranged to close a portion of Smothers Road for our homecoming parade tomorrow afternoon.  If you plan to come to watch the parade, please arrive before 1:00 p.m.  If you arrive after this time, you will need to park at the lot adjacent to the football field (near the outdoor basketball court).  The parade will begin at Grace Baptist Church, then continue through the main entrance to campus and around the cafeteria circle.  Students will exit their floats at Stokely Gym for the pep rally at the football field.  The parade is always a fun event for the students so come out to cheer them on and take lots of photos!
