Kindergarten Readiness Success at the Early Learning Center

At TKA, we are committed to preparing children not just for kindergarten, but for long-term academic success. One way we measure that readiness is through the Brigance Kindergarten Readiness Assessment, a nationally recognized screening tool that evaluates a child’s development in key areas including physical development, language skills, academic readiness, and cognitive growth. The assessment is widely used to identify how prepared children are for the transition to kindergarten.

We are excited to share that our students who completed the 4-Year-Old Early Learning Center Program during the 2025–2026 school year achieved an average Brigance score of 92.3%.

What does that mean for parents? Simply put, our students are entering kindergarten with a strong foundation in the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. A score of 92.3% demonstrates that our preschool graduates are well-prepared academically and developmentally for the next stage of their educational journey.

This achievement reflects:

  • A strong Christ-centered early childhood curriculum
  • Intentional instruction in literacy, math, language, and critical thinking
  • Developmentally appropriate learning experiences
  • Dedicated teachers who invest in each child’s growth
  • A partnership between school and families that supports student success

We are incredibly proud of our students, teachers, and families for this outstanding accomplishment. The 92.3% average Brigance score is more than just a number—it represents children who are confident, capable, and ready to thrive as they begin kindergarten.
