At The King’s Academy, spiritual formation reaches far beyond a weekly chapel service. Faith shapes how we teach, how we lead, how we serve, how we treat one another, and how students learn to understand their place in God’s story.

Students encounter regular opportunities for personal, classroom, small-group, and school-wide prayer.

Students learn that following Jesus moves us outward, creating opportunities to serve our campus, community, and world.

Before students are called to love God, love others, serve, forgive, pray, or live on mission, they must first understand one foundational truth.
God’s love is not something we earn, achieve, or perform our way into. God loved us first. His love is most clearly seen in Jesus Christ, who came for sinners, died in our place, rose again, and calls us to follow Him.
Throughout this year, students will learn to receive God’s love, understand what biblical love truly is, reflect that love toward others, and live as people sent into the world by Christ.

Formation happens when biblical truth moves from a chapel message into relationships, conversations, decisions, service, worship, and everyday life.
Our goal is not simply for students to hear truth. We want them to process it, practice it, and learn to live it.

We believe parents have a vital role in the spiritual formation of their children.
Chapel can introduce and reinforce biblical truth, but some of the most meaningful conversations happen around a dinner table, in the car, after a difficult day, or in the ordinary rhythms of family life.
We want to give families language they can use to continue those conversations at home.
